This tote was handmade by Neva Opet. It’s large enough to fit my 13” MacBook in a soft case plus notebooks and lunch. It’s very sturdy and well made. There are no major flaws, but the leather could definitely use some cleaning and conditioning.

melanierogala @lovingthread I added two more photos of the spot that runs from the right side of the closure down. It’s possible that it’s some water damage but I am having a really hard time discerning if it was that or an original flaw in the leather, the maker used pieces with flaws intentionally.
