im29 @myredshoelace hi! I’m not sure how to measure bust properly ... but I just measured the pit to pit circumference (area just below the armpits) and it’s about 40 in. The material (wool) is also stretchy. Let me know if you any more information can be helpful!

im29 @myredshoelace no, no. Sorry I’m so bad at explaining this. While the sweater is laying flat, I took the tape measure across from pit to pit and wrapped it around the back of the sweater until it met back up with the tape measure. I just measured again and uploaded a pic to try to help be more clear haha. So basically while laying flat, 40 in. is the circumstance below the pit.

myredshoelace @im29 oh ok, got it! So if you lay the sweater flat and measure from pit to pit, that’s the bust. If you say “ 20” from pit to pit laying flat” , most buyers will know to double that to get the bust. So sorry I should have explained that to you! If the bust is indeed around 40” that’s more like a medium in women’s. 😀👍🏼

myredshoelace @im29 but definitely measure flat, you can’t get a very accurate measurement trying to wrap the measuring tape around the bust.

im29 @myredshoelace okay got it thanks for the information!! I’m typically in between a S and M on women’s and this is very oversized, so I wasn’t sure what size to label it, as it has no tags.
