Quilt measures approximately 37”x37”. Squares made with 2 layers 100% cotton flannel and gray and blue plaid edging is polyester/microfiber. Traditional “x” on squares in red thread. Coordinating pillow shams (pillow form not included) approximately 14”x14” plus the plaid flange. New, washed once to start ragging process and preshrink shams. Handmade by me in my smoke free home. Note minor flaws on pillow shams where blue color bled, and flawed stiches on the zigzag found on quilt border.

snugglestitches @waterfront63 Yes, I do. Those rag quilts like that nautical one actually make nice cozy bedding with flannel, and they can also be made with regular cotton and cotton batting in between to keep the pretty fraying at the seams but still have more of the feel of a regular quilt. Also, I do make regular quilts.

snugglestitches @fzeun2010 thank you for the kind words! I made all the stuff in my closet. It’s really all about patience and practice, and a little social distancing boredom doesn’t hurt! Happy Friday!

redchow @snugglestitches Many years ago my sister made quilts for the family. I understand the time and dedication. My sister and mother made a beautiful reversible queen quilt hand sewn for my bed. I treasure all of my quilts. Your quilts are beautiful.

snugglestitches @redchow thank you. That means a lot. Quilts are definitely family heirlooms. I still have several quilts my grandmother made.

snugglestitches @socalmerch Thank you! That is so sweet of you. Quilting can be a lot of work, but it’s also a lot of fun to watch it come together and then thinking “I made this!”
