Handpainted colourful earrings

I bought these in India, and the artist had a range of earrings that she painted based on what different chemicals looked like under the microscope. This was supposed to be caffeine. Now IMO this looks nothing like caffeine under a microscope... but they were so cute and whimsical, I loved them all through my teenage years.
