Handsome Vintage Moorish Style Pill Box Hat Turrquoise Velvet Gold Embellishment

SALE Impressive example of vintage modified pill box hat with Moorish influence from mid century. With a nod to the men's smoking caps of the Victorian era, this is a high resting cap. In turquoise velvet, its sides are decorated with swirled gold tone embellishments. The top has a smaller variation. The interior has a magenta quilted satin liner. The hat in part keeps its shape with a paper band (see condition report below). No maker label Size: 3" tall; 8 x 6 across crown; 21" inner band circumference.
