mee_oww @sytak Scammers make it easy 2 prey on someone who really wants that particular bag. During our "lust" for lack of a better word, we tend to ignore the red flags or try to justify the good deal. Always be weary of any seller that wants to make a deal privately. There isn't one good reason they can come up with to justify why. (con't)

mee_oww @sytak pt 2 If they want instant payment, they could sell on a different platform that offers that. They use Posh because 2 lure you off it, you aren't protected. And then there's nothing you can do. So if we are all proactive, and are on to their ways, they will have to move on to someplace else. There will always be scammers. The way not to be scammed is to be armed with knowledge; the best weapon of all : ) Happy New Year. May all your future purchases be "bright"

emboodie I buy outside of posh🤷🏽‍♀️ and sell outside on different platforms that have lesser selling fees and I don’t rob people. Sometimes when I buy stuff I HAVE TO ask the seller to sell it to me off Posh because Posh does not accept one of my cards. So not everyone is a scammer FYI just don’t be dumb. Someone isn’t trying to scam you if they ask to buy at a different platform just to let some of you guys know because when you spread this people start accusing people wrongfully. Fun tea Love ❤️

akisten16 Claims that someone has “boxes of Wheels and Dollbaby” to sell on poshmark are highly suspicious and likely untrue: wheels and Dollbaby is a cult brand that consistently sold out of their pieces. I have contacted the brand to verify if they could/would have sold leftover inventory in bulk to individuals before closing down. Will update if I get a response from W&D.

akisten16 Scam story: seller listed a W&D dress, accepted the offer I made, & I was too excited about the deal to notice the suspicious details of the dress pictured Then seller says she does not have the dress listed/pictured & shipped me the dress style in black & pink. I verified through research that W&D never produced this style in that color combo. Seller harassed me and said she intercepted the shipment & I would never see any dress from her. Posh support unhelpful and won’t refund me
