The shoulder strap is thick it's it makes itself known. you know the dealings with those little dainty straps. you don't have to be try to maneuver your way into every little nook and cranny. it's very accessible. what you see is what you need. at the same time it's also deep so you don't have to worry about things falling out of it. The quality of this bag is outstanding and I think we all we see that in almost every thing vintage. The inside of the purse is spotless. like it has never been used. there is absolutely no flaws with this bag except for its age and I don't really think that's a flaw. purses about 18 in wide 12 in tall and the strap is about 20 in long.
