Harmony Kingdom Penguin Polar Bear Trinket Box Figurine Murphys Last Stand

This trinket box from artist Peter Calvesber's Harmony Kingdom Treasure Jest collection features a group of penguins on a North Pole adventure. Two penguins are trying to push a polar bear off their friend Murphy, who is trapped underneath as he scrambles to pick up his keys. Oblivious to the excitement, a small penguin, which serves as the lid handle, is sleeping on top of the bear’s back. Inside are Murphy’s four beer bottles. A hidden inscription reading "JC 1875,” references to the oldest woman in the world at the time, Jeannie Calmont, who celebrated her 122nd birthday in France at the time of carving. “Benson 9” on the rim refers to a 9-year-old horse that Peter would borrow to ride.
