Harold Carmichael played for the Philadelphia Eagles for 13 seasons (1971-1983) and earned four Pro Bowl selections. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2020, and his number 17 jersey was retired by the Eagles in 1984. He is best known for his height (6'8") and incredible receiving ability, ranking among the top 20 receivers in NFL history at the time of his retirement. Carmichael led the NFL in receptions, receiving yards, and receiving touchdowns during the 1973 season, and helped lead the Eagles to their first Super Bowl appearance in 1980.
