Healing Ointment for Dogs

Healing Ointment – This ointment has moisturizing ingredients to help soothe the skin as well as 3 essential oils that are known to naturally help with healing. Specifically hot spots and skin irritations/rashes. Neem is an anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, and anti-fungal. Jojoba Oil helps to speed up cell recovery and healing. Calendula aids in healing specifically for rashes, insect bites, eczema and even sunburn. The consistency to this is similar to a salve. It is soft to the touch and easy to rub on. It comes in a 2 oz. tin. To apply take a small amount between your fingers and gently rub onto the affected area. A little bit goes a long way. All these ingredients are non-toxic and lick safe for dogs. Most cats will be fine with this ointment as well but extra caution is needed with cats and essential oils. We don’t recommend using on cats without your vet’s approval first. Ingredients: Coconut oil, Shea Butter, Lanolin, Beeswax, Olive Oil, Oat Flour, Vitamin E., Neem Oil, Jojoba Oil, Calendula Oil. Apply 2-3 times daily for 2-4 days or until your satisfied with results. Continue to apply 1-2 times a week or as needed for maintenance. This ointment does not take the place of veterinary care. It is simply an at home option for minor skin irritations. Always seek medical attention if you are worried about your pets health or if skin irritations are severe or long lasting.
