mkelley11 @levi0sa it is a jacket... Yes it is thicker than your normal jean jacket. I'm not for sure about the rinse... I'm horrible taking pics, but the pic accurately shows the color. It's not dark denim, it's in the middle. I think it's suppose to be a worn look??? Sorry I'm not for sure
