This Baby Boy's Heirloom Bobby Suit is a Classic!! This particular embroidery design/buttons is no longer in production making it a RARE FIND!! It is actually ONE PIECE instead of two attached by buttons. The point collar has a blue piping trim that is hand-faggoted to the collar (a detailed high-end stitch found in heirloom clothing). A single inverted pleat on the front center serves as a faux button placket. Three vintage round pearlized buttons adorn the pleat. On each side are two sections of hand-stitched pintucks that have a vertical, faggoted stitched channel inlay. On each side of that are baby blue hand-embroidered leaves. The shirt sleeves have an inverted pleat at the cuff, which is a matching blue. The blue shorts are sewn onto the top for easy changes. Two vintage round matching pearlized buttons adorn the waist of the shorts, mimicking a traditional Bobby Suit where buttons are functional. A single pleat under each button adds a tailored look.
