fashionsistah I have two questions, Is the leather compromised on this hat? In the 2nd photo it looks like it might be. Or is that lighting? Also, what is the circumference? On the model it almost looks a a pillbox. I am looking for more of a beret type that can be worn slouchy. Can't find any photos of this hat worn French style pulled to the side online.

sucrose1 Hi! The leather is not compromised. Perhaps you're seeing a reflection on the leather. The top circumference is ~30 inches around, and the height is close to 2.25 inches from bottom to top seam. It is not a slouchy beret, but is not quite a pillbox either. I'd say it's a refined beret that is best worn pinched in the back or to the side.
