ashleyh8720 Hi Erin! I actually went to school in Florida (Florida A&M). I moved to Des Moines a few years ago to take my job. Have a lot of friends from here that went to Drake and University of Iowa though! Let me know if you have any questions!!! 😊

ashleyh8720 @erinroth2 Yes! And there are so many different directions you can go even within the field! After school I did residency in psychiatric pharmacy and work at the VA in the mental health clinic. Very rewarding! Best of luck to you, and I hope you end up at your top choice school! 😃

hollyriles That is precious about our fury friends...Don't shop...Adopt! Too cute!! I'm sure you can appreciate the love for our "babies"! They are human but just can't talk, LOL, I always say that but I think it's true and they have their own way of communicating! Have you seen my 3 babies? That's my only listing in my closet is a pic of them!!! I got on here to make some extra money and I've only shopped and met some very nice people...you being one!! 💜

ashleyh8720 @hollyriles Yes, and they're adorable. The perfect size to dress up lol. Mine are all too big and just eat the clothes off of one another, literally. They can't even wear scarves 😒 I go through "phases of hobbies" lol. Prior to this I volunteered and fostered for a local pet rescue but that didn't work because we just kept adopting all of our fosters 😳 We now have 5, which is CRAZY... I know. But they all have their own personalities and are like our kids. Luckily my mom recently moved

hollyriles WOW...I may have come out with more!! Lol! I would have done the exact same thing that you did...which is why I can't work at any shelter/adoption/rescue facility. I'd have a zoo too! It's the same way with my parents too... the babies call them Mawmaw and pawpaw or "Maw" and "Paw" and they get Christmas presents to open!! They are rotten!!!

hollyriles Only my girl wears clothes/dresses and when I change her, she is waiting for her "new" outfit and won't leave my side until I get her outfit and put it on her!! She is a mess!! She's my only girl "Princess" and she's a rescue, I've been having her for 10 years now, she was 1 when I adopted her.

karasene2001 Hello😁. I'm your neighbor to the west, about 3 1/2-4 hours away in Omaha,NE. I did rescue for several years. I am a 4 time foster flunky, just can't help myself. I took in a stray after my 2 Maltese passed due to health issues.I have a dear friend in New London IA. She adopted a Scottie I fostered and we became really close.
