Hi, nice to meet you.🙋 I'm Clara. Welcome to our Posh Family & Happy Poshing! Here's some tips to get you started. Remember to follow Posh Rules/Guidelines on what can be sold. It's also important to check out the FAQS and not use PayPal. This will greatly increase your chances of getting a Host Pick at parties. I have a NEW POSHER listing of tips for new users in my closet that may help. It also has a list of other closets that have great information for new users. Other listings give additional tips. Check out the comments, too. There may be answers to questions you didn't know you had.😊 Above all have fun and meet new people while selling your items! 🎀 thanks for the introduction @emilyrubin

@emilyrubin @katz2 I do have a quick question. I've noticed that some poshers said to beware of scammers but didn't go into detail on there page. How can I point out a "scammer"? Also I noticed that some poshers post their clothing on models or a picture from the internet. How can you tell if they really have the item? Is it ok to ask for a "real" snapshot of the item??! Sorry I'm asking too many questions at once. Thanks

@tropicalgem Hi, when it comes to scammers, most of the time you can tell by them asking for your email address or taking the sale off Poshmark, like with PayPal. You should also check their sold listings to see of any problems other buyers have had non-receipt if items, long delays in shipping the items. The old adage that if the deal is too good to be true, also applies here. You should never give out your email address. Keep all transactions within the Posh app for your protection. As for photos---you can always ask for more IF you are ready to buy or are serious about buying. There's nothing more annoying than posting more pictures and then no response from the "buyer". I use a mannequin because I never need to worry about her hair, make-up or trying to get a good "selfie". She's always ready. ☺️ Plus some items may no longer fit, therefore, they are selling them. The gals with boutiques sometimes use "stock" photos because they show the item best. Hope this helps.😘💕
