I want some opinions girlies! My Dr. Has prescribed me PAXIL for my anxiety/depression and I have gained over 10lbs and im NOT liking it w.s.e! I am usually 120 and well...im much more now :( any suggestions?? I dont really want to be on something like this if its gonna make me gain THAT MUCH weight. Has anyone had the same experience? And what did you do to help with all the weight gain? I want to be somewhat at least back to where I use to be! Iv NEVER weighed this much!!!

carolevelyn But seriously, a lot of these types of prescriptions cause weight gain, buckle down, to avoid their side effects, banana is a good appetite suppressant, you get full, less calories, maybe a smaller dose of the prescription, talk to your doctor♡☆☆☆☆☆

dezarebrewer @carolevelyn thanks a bunch :) I actually made me an appt with my Dr. Today and she prescribed me something else. THANK GOD! Lol its called "wellbutrin" so im hoping this helps!...which I read up on it and it can make people quit smoking,which may be good for me lol but I dnt smoke that much anyhow..maybe about 6 a day! and also it can make people lose weight as well. Im hoping it dont do too much tho :/ I dnt wanna be a tooth pick either hehe!

dezarebrewer @carolevelyn she weighed me today @ 140 lbs. Thats 20lbs in just 5 months! :/ she thought that was even a bit excessive. She wanted to do a thyroid blood test to make sure thats not why iv gained much weight. To which I believe its the stupid meds shes put me on! :( ggrrrr! Paxil I guess is 1 of the top meds that will make ppl gain.

dezarebrewer @carolevelyn also about what u said about control...the paxil CAN however to SOME ppl have the effect that when ppl eat they can have the tendency to not fell full...well in my case...thats what it has done to me! I think its like only 25% of ppl that`ll.happen to. Whyd it have to be me LOL!

dezarebrewer @alicekaaos so sorry for delayed response! Its different for everyone. Peoples bodies respond different. Wellbutrin did not help me just gave me nasty headaches all the time! And for the Paxil, id suggest NO ONE to take it! its an aweful little pill

dezarebrewer @alicekaaos also, if u notice ur constantly eating or you juat dont seem to be getting full. Stop the meds cu that'll let you know weather the pull will make you gain! But u do have to at least give it a month or so b4 decidimg if it right for u or not, thats how long itll take for the meds to have full effect😊
