As far as cowboy hats go this one is gorgeous with black suede and nice detail. I've yet to see another one that compares IMO. This hat is basically new and just sits in a hat box waiting for that time I need it. I think I wore it once for a bit and back in the box it went. I just think it's time for a new home since I'm not using it.
It has a lovely silver conch band the goes all the way around and I've you can see the inside has zero wear.
It's a size medium.

Would it be possible to remove the concho band temporarily for a costume? Thanks.

@robinepsteindes Temporarily I don’t think so. They are on quite well. You’d have to probably cut the ribbon cording to remove them at the very least which may or may not damage the hat. The conch trim is are nicely done too. It would be best if you don’t want to see them is to cover them with a piece of black cloth (think over side soft headband) or a scarf.

@robinepsteindes PS I just tested it with a soft headband and it worked! I can post a pic if you want to see but my headbands are green and pink. Bright or light colors.
