Hi, what is the difference between the hunter general purpose pad as opposed to the jumper pad? Any significant difference?

@hslade911 There is a slight difference! I have both (hunter and jumper pads) and the jumper pad is a little more “puffy” feeling and looking whereas the hunter pad is sleeker and is thinner than the jumper pad. They both work the same but only a slight difference in design. I will post a photo of the other pad in the listing for comparison!

@blbassick ok! I actually do not like the “puffier” pads so this is good to know! Does it sit on a high wither well? (It looks like it does) and stay in place easily? I love the ogilvy pads - and how they fit, but want a nice pad for competition.

@hslade911 I have not used this pad myself (only the jumper pad) but I have not had issues with that pad sliding back. Jumped a few 1.20/1.25 courses and it stayed. I’ve also seen people use this specific pad in big jumping classes and it doesn’t slide so I’m fairly confident it’ll stay! It looks like there would be plenty of wither room and just from the shape of the pad I think there is more room than an ogilvy. The underside is a different material than an ogilvy but very nice pad ☺️
