Very shiny palladium-plated hardware and snap closure. Snaps on both sides to expand/retract. There is some fading and corner wear as shown in the photos and video. No pen or makeup explosions have taken place inside. I had 3 other color versions of these (I sold 2 because I purchased another variant of this with a zip closure during a live show and plan to keep just one of this type)—they are the best totes for grocery and Home Depot runs and going to the farmers market. They are incredible, substantial, hearty totes that you know you can stuff and know they are not going to tear or stretch to oblivion.
