Supple suede loafer with palladium filigree logo detail, these shoes are quite literally brand new packed in original box and dust bags. Originally ordered from Hermes last season, they were a size misfire that I meant to exchange; tried on once only. Have been very carefully kept, stuffed [for shape] in bag in box since purchase. These shoes are too beautiful to live in a box – I would like to see them go to a loving shoe-home! Please know your size for this designer and shoe model. Designer shoe sizes can be tricky; questions welcome. Shipping signature required.

jdm1995 Can you tell what size you wear in Hermes does the loafer run small than the sandal size 11 thank you

confustikate @jdm1995 In my experience, the style and model of the shoe impacts finding a good fit as much as knowing the designer and the size protocol they follow (French, Italian, etc.). E.G. I wear a womens US 8 but own Hermès shoes in sizes ranging from 38 - 40! Typically, my go to size in Hermès shoes (including for loafers) is a 39. Hermès uses French sizes so a 39 is theoretically equivalent to a US 9; likewise a size 41 is equal to a US 11.

confustikate @jdm1995 You probably noticed that I take a US 8 but most often wear a "Hermès 9". Some designers claim to have hard and fast sizing rules such as "always order 1/2 size larger than your US size" but such directives should be viewed as general "thumb rules" - nothing beats experience with the designer or model or both. All of that said - my experience with Hermès sandals is limited to a pair of espadrille wedges (sandal-ish) and a pair of Alesias (stack-heeled sandals).

confustikate @jdm1995 The wedges were 40 and the Alesias 39. If you have worn other Hermès loafers comfortably in size 41, I don't see why these shouldn't fit equally well - however, I am not a professional fitter so I urge you to take care in making a decision! I *love* these shoes; had they fit, I would have kept them. As things stand, I tried them on once and didn't get around to returning them. If you have any additional questions, please ask...I want these to go to a loving shoe home :)

confustikate @jdm1995 You're very welcome :-) Do you have the um...Villa slides? Or the midheel sandals with the ankle strap (the model name escapes me, at the moment)? I have a pair of the flat mules (model - um, grr!) and they fit like a standard Hermès loafer. Imho, the real difference between the time loafer and, e.g. the royal loafer, is the use of suede on the heel panels so that your time loafers are convertible to "time mules" :)
