Fine Black "Posorus" Crocodile, maintained well & conditioned regularly.
24 kt. dipped Gold-plated Brass.

The bag has it's original dust bag that seems to have been laundered about 100 times.. it's very soft and the logo is intact.

Designed in 1934 and discontinued sometime in the early 60's.
The V-shaped detail at the base of the handles is what gives the bag it's signature & signals that the bag is the rare & elusive
"original Pullman". A classic beauty.

Hey Leslie, you don’t need me to tell you but this bag is absolutely stunning!!! I don’t know why I never stopped and really looked at it. It’s so beautiful! I want it but guess what?!! I’m spending 3X’s that amount on my mouth!!! And, at least you got weight loss out of it, me, not so much! I have this one spot that is just a constant source of pain and it’s making me less than my usually cheerful self!

I must say 1,000X’s a day “my mouth hurts”! I’m getting tired of hearing myself say it! So, are you doing any fun projects? I’m leaving for San Antonio in the morning to babysit 4 of my grandkids for a week. 3 of them are teens and one of those can drive and the youngest is 5 but we understand each other so she’s pretty good.

The last time I babysat them the older kids were at school and just she and I were at home. In hadn’t seen her for a while so I went looking for her. She’s in her bedroom behind her bed. I sneak in and she has Sammy, the cat, in a choke hold and she has a glue stick and scissors. Bad combo for a four year old. I ask what she’s doing and she tells me to “get out”! I don’t “get out” and I discover she has given the cat a pretty extreme haircut and now is trying to glue the fur back onto him!

We came to an understanding that day and now I just have to give her a look and she chooses something appropriate to do. In my pics she’s the little person flashing the peace sign! I hope all is well with you and maybe I’ll change my mind about the teeth and get the bag! No one will notice my teeth if I’m carrying that gorgeous bag!!!😄

@warnocks I have one stepson & one grandson shown with Art in my about section. He,Andrew, was adopted and looks just like his parents! it was an open adoption, the birth mother named him..They were all close and there were visits for about 3 mos.in the beginning but petered off for all the right reasons.
She also had two other sons.
I wonder if any of your teenage grandkids or their friends are into Steampunk.

@nllinnyc Perhaps this bag isn't for you if you dislike gold hardware as much as you say..However if you look closely you'll see it has more of a weathered bronze sheen..That said & considering the posh commision, I could do another small percentage off . It's really a collectible so I'm not in a huge rush to sell it..I'd rather wait for that someone who appreciates its' history & integrity as I do.. Thanks so much for your interest and compliment!

hi irry no, I didnt buy it with any key..as I mentioned in description, the handles would benefit from a restoring..Handles are usually the first to need attention when dealing with croc.or gator.

Just read all these comments. What a wall lol 😂. Anyway when I came in Posh back in 2016 I found my fame in a crocodile Dior, nothing and I mean nothing as fabulous as this! Not kidding, I’m sure you’re well aware of what you possess. Your offering a deal and I mean a steal. !!! Don’t let them nickel and dime you. Your product is outstanding and yes posh takes 20%. Good part is they will authenticate, insure, and ship. So get what you can this bag will only go up in value.
