mynahshine I love going into the Hermès store in Bellevue. There’s a woman there that will give a compete history of the brand & company. They also have one of the very first bags ever made. It’s pretty awesome to this history nerd.

mynahshine I have a degree in history so I was in heaven! She gave me her card & said I can come back and learn more any time. The bag she showed me was beautiful! I didn’t know Hermès were the 1st to use a zipper outside of an industrial area. It was called the Hermès closer for years! Cool fact

mimiuscloset @mynahshine That is a cool fact! It's all done by hand and from the best crafters. Very selective and from the most skilled only. I would have loved to see the first Hermes bag. That must have been something else.

mynahshine My husband didn’t understand why she was wearing gloves to touch it. He is a a total Hermès fan now & bought 2 cup & saucer sets that day! A single person works the bag from a piece of leather to the finished product. It’s worth every penny! I just bought my first Hermès I now have an Evelyn of my own!

mimiuscloset @mynahshine ahh good husband. Mine would never go with me. He would rather stay in the car and wait for me till it's over lol Evelyn is one of my faves. It's one of my go to bags. Mine is in chocolate brown :)

mynahshine He takes me to all the nice stores. He says it makes it easier to buy me gifts. Mine is blue & gently used but looks new! I love it & have used every day since I bought it. It’s actually a really practical bag!
