Along with hints and remember whens from the 1930's you can stroll back in time and revisit what it was like to live in the 1930's. A chapter on the era let's you peek at a simpler time where the heart of the home was the kitchen for many. I love looking at the pictures of vintage cookbooks to see how and what vintage utensils and props are in the pictures. There aren't that many 1930's cookbooks that let you do that.
