jacqueray @bellafiore4 yep. This is my last one alive. Lost my mare in sept. It was a tragic loss (even though she was 27 yrs old). I still can't talk about it. I also had two geldings prior to her. One died in my arms as my ex husband was calling the vet again and Carbon, we had to put down. He had laminitis really bad. He was older too but that's another one I can't talk about. I rescued 2 of the 4 andhe and Joey were the two. Anyway, I'm always with my animals that have to be put to sleep. Well let me tell you, I don't think I can manage to ever be with another horse again. It is damn awful. Even my exhusband said it made him feel sick. Ahhhhhh..... I cry as much as I laugh btw. :-)

bellafiore4 @jacqueray I'm so sorry I know how u feel I lost my dog a few years ago it was hard to deal with and I'm so sensitive when it comes to animals getting hurt or abused it makes me cry

jacqueray @bellafiore4 I'm so sorry. Yeah it is never fun. I lose mine in threes. In fact, I had to out Rocky (the other boxer) down in August. Ellie died in Sept and then I had to put another dog down in October. I swear it is always in 3 ' s. Do you have any animals now?

bellafiore4 @jacqueray I have a chinese crested Oliver is his name and I am over protected with him we have coyotes that hang around my area so he stays in all the time I have a fear of them taking him they have took peoples dogs when I do take him for a walk I take a stick with me. But always looking all over not fun walk at all

jacqueray @bellafiore4 yeah. I can only imagine. Watch out for large birds too. Eagles even owls. Always keep him leashed. That bird or coyote will be dragging me along too if they get my dog! Ohhhh. That gives me the shakes it scares me so bad. Get a treadmill and keep Oliver inside!!! Waaahhhh!

mgp0211 Such a Sweet Gentle look in his eyes ! My heart goes out to you ..The first time I ever saw a horse put down,I wanted to die myself..It's Aweful. I have 2 mares left , one I've had since I was 15 years old and she was just born to my Mother's mare . Now I'm 44 and she's 29.We were young & dumb together and now we're old an falling apart together. ..lol. I think it would kill me if she had to be put down..I nearly lost her a few years ago to a rare type of colic, spend 56 hours by her side ( in horsey Icu )praying and calling out to God for his favor. The other mare I still have was my youngest daughters Barrell racing mare.Love her to pieces for taking such good care of my baby girl

jacqueray @mgp0211 oh my did this make me cry. Had I mentioned being with my Carbon when he had to be put down. I can just scream and bawl buckets of tears. I have never in my life....... I have no my Kiyomi left and he is rotten. I wish you lived close. We could ride together. Best to you and stay in touch!!!! xxoo
