chula0525 @papabiz Yes, from an actual store! There are real ones on this site but it’s risky. I normally buy $10 - $20 items lol. So if they turn out to be fake I’m like “oh well”. But $200 is a lot of money to be scammed out of. I generally look at their “love notes”, what they’ve sold in the past and how long they hv been a member if I purchase something expensive. Those indicators actually tell u a lot. He’s only been on the site 2 months. Total red flag 🚩!

papabiz @chula0525 all that and after reading stuff you posted on the belt I decided to read the comments on his other stuff and the guy’s doing sketchy trades and I was also like it’s probably just too good to be true and his trying to have me on his side and cater to his fears was the last straw I’m just 100% done cause even if he has a real belt I don’t know if it will come in the mail especially since he has a sold listing for a belt with the same pictures.

poetiquefashion @papabiz @papabiz you definitely made the right decision not to do business with that guy. He commented on my page trying to "trade" me for my 100% AUTHENTIC Gucci belt, I never trade because of scammers and simply because I am a legit seller, but it prompted me to look into his account. @rickjamesruss88 has been reported to the police by numerous people please report his account to get him banned from Poshmark, because he is giving legitimate designer sellers a bad name.

I know a few people that he actually scammed out of expensive designer items have even sent direct messages to Poshmark, and yet he still has an active account. I'm not sure what it takes to get the guy banned?

I’ve done a lot of databasing where I’ve had to find hundreds of companies and find contact for executives of those companies just online and I’ll totally do that

poetiquefashion @papabiz From what I've heard Poshmark does not even have a customer service phone number, which speaks to why things take so long to receive attention/get handled. I am positive they have a company telephone, so if you are well verses in finding these kinds of things then you're our guy! My honest feeling is that no one has even reviewed any of the complaints that have been sent in on this guy. Poshmark takes a week sometimes just to get around to routine return requests.

poetiquefashion @papabiz I know for a fact other sellers have been banned for soliciting deals outside of Poshmark, so just on that basis alone his account should be banned. My logic says once Poshmark finally gets around to reviewing all of the evidence in this case his account will swiftly be terminated...the problem is they don't seem to have any sense of urgency, all the while people are at risk of being scammed in the meantime.

poetiquefashion @papabiz He blocks anyone who tries to blow the whistle on his page, but if we can somehow get Posh Users who aren't blocked on his page to post a warning under each of his items not to buy from him, that would be effective. Some people don't read comments under other listings otherwise no one would buy from him because numerous people have commented under his sold items that he scammed them.

He is using a federal agency (USPS) to commit fraud, and that is a felony. It's unfortunate that law enforcement agencies don't take these types of cases seriously.

chula0525 @angelanunn I just checked the usps site. It looks like it will be delivered tomorrow. Monday at the latest. The tracking indicates it “fell off” the grid from Dec 7th until Dec 14th. As a seller, I’ve been having a lot of delayed and misrouted mail lately. The tracking is back on track now. I’ll be sure to provide feedback as soon as it’s delivered. 🥰🥰
