mjlocal512 @miltsangel All my items come from a pet free and smoke free home, and almost everything I purchase is new from my favorite stores! I work hard (and when I'm working lol) I am paid well. I love to cook and bake as I used to be a chef and my biggest hobby is poshing!! I look forward to shopping your closet in the future!😘

mjlocal512 @lolabeth02 that's awesome! I really enjoyed working with the carpenters on the big bridge project here in Stillwater Minnesota, we would tell jokes against each other and just laughed our butts off at each other but at the end of the day we all have each other's back's! Some days it's hard, and some days it's easy Peazy, but I would not go back to office work for anything.... I will not post one but I promise you I do not look like this on a job site LOL!

lolabeth02 @mjlocal512 that's so funny, I hear those stories all the time. He told me to tell u he works close with the iron workers cuz he's the super over scaffolding so they work very close and ride each other all the time!!! One of my close friends does this work now and she says the same thing, she could never go back to office work. We are getting ready to go into outage next week, love the money but rough on him.

lolabeth02 @mjlocal512 we are in Hampton Va now, we are from WV originally but have been in Ga and Al in the last three years. I'm hoping we are here for longer than a hot minute. Lol. It's a 5 yr job so looks promising. I bet u guys do know some of the same people!!!

lolabeth02 @mjlocal512 he used to work for Brand but is with Vertical Access now. Where is home base for you? Do u guys have to travel? I love traveling just hard with kids, this is my sons 3rd high school. Guilt gets ya down sometime but traveling teaches so much I keep telling myself.

mjlocal512 @lolabeth02 i'm sorry that some of my responses all evening has been spotty at best... Union Minnesota trades women we have formed a group together to make lawmakers and etc. responsible to make some necessary changes and enforce hiring goals for women and minorities in the trades. I'm just learning the political ins and outs of the unions. Anyhoo, I love traveling also, but with family I bet it does get tiring!

mjlocal512 @lolabeth02 My husband has been at the same company for going on eight years but he works for a power company so he travels all over Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and sometimes Michigan. Until the past six months, my husband and I got to spend eight days in a total Mont together lol I will look on some of my trades pages on Facebook to see who I know from your area and you can ask your guy if he knows him or her lol

lolabeth02 @mjlocal512 I can completely relate. We lived apart for years before the kids and I began traveling with him and it took its toll on our marriage, we are actually divorced but back together. Lol. People in this field don't get enough credit.

mjlocal512 Oh no! Sorry to hear that! But yes, tradesmen/women don't get enough credit for juggling those tougher jobs, wives who have to play the role of both parents woke dads are gone making a living, ect.
