Very substantial straps are 1" wide. Front portion of straps is cushioned, while the back portion is non-stretchy, adjustable, & convertible. Underwires are also cushioned. Washed & air-dried. Excellent condition (thought I was buying a bundle of UK size 34Gs, but they are US size 34G. Try each one once or twice & then accepted the fact that they were not my size). EUC
