Hill Tribe Sterling Silver Ram Thai Bangle Bracelet / Thai Tribal Bracelet

This is an exquisite, extremely heavy (approx. 70g.) Sterling silver bangle bracelet was made by Karen Hill Tribe artisan silversmiths near Chiang Mai, Thailand. This silver bangle bracelet, of course, is designed to go on the wrist, though the shape is inspired by Ram Thai (traditional Thai folk dance) ankle bracelets. This fabulous statement piece is far and away one of the boldest and most uniquely elegant hill tribe silver pieces in my Etsy shop! This exciting and exotic treasure is hinged in the center, for ease in putting it on and removing it. There is a spring within the hinge, helping it gently close, so that there is no need to fumble blindly with a clasp to secure the bracelet. This piece is the quintessential Thai design and spirit! It exudes tradition and is very sleek. Still, it is quite, tribal in appearance, and has both satin and mirror-finish areas incorporated throughout the design. This showy bangle boasts a peacock feather motif, gracing the sides, with each curved side progressing into a very graceful, yet, dramatic, arched, unopened lotus blossom creating two points mirroring each other at the top of the wrist.
