This is a stunning jacket with a higher buttoning collar than many. This is due to the 4 buttons. Add that to the pointed collar and it really frames your face. There are no pockets to add bulk. Note the seaming down the front and back that creates a subtle hourglass shape. Then there is the waist seam that allows a slight bit more at the rear - although not a real peplum.
