bemrjm @josweeney116 😀not a problem— I I added a new pic that captures the full dress. The undress/slip is smaller than the overlay so for bust measurements — the slip is about 15” arm pit to arm pit. The overdress is about 17” arm pit to arm pit. From shoulder to hem is about 39.5”.

bemrjm @josweeney116 yes potentially. It was an expensive dress and is beautiful. I wore it once I think for Easter and haven’t worn it again but I need to mentally come to terms with giving it up vs keeping it in my closet “just in case”! I am trying to follow the rule of unloading things I haven’t worn in quite some time but it can be challenging! Feel free to make an offer — the worst I can say is no — and I could always reorder it to you later if I am feeling differently!! 😊

josweeney116 @bemrjm yeah I know how that is. I’m not sure how it will fit in the shoulders if it will be too tight but will see if I can have my alterations measure me to see if it will work. It sucks buying clothes that are beautiful and expensive but don’t fit. I appreciate your considering to work with me! Will keep you posted on sizing. 😊

bemrjm @josweeney116 yes totally understand that. I get it — it’s one thing to take a risk on a 20 dress and another on a 100+ dress. I will try it on again myself and try to give you my own sense of how it fits me and my measurements. Will have to do that tonight though!

bemrjm @josweeney116 I am 5’4” too. And probably about 117 pounds but unless your pic is old, I am definitely older than you — and body parts tend to shift after kids and with age!! 😀. I will try to take a pic with it on me

bemrjm @josweeney116 posted 2 more pics. It is a “flowy” looking dress but the fabric isn’t stretchy. Factoring that in, I would say it’s closer to what you might normally think of as a US 2.

bemrjm @josweeney116 you’re welcome! Are you looking for a dress for a special occasion? If so, I can keep an eye out for anything else in my closet I might be ready to part with. Anyway, I hope you find one that suits your needs. I just made my first clothing purchase on Poshmark the other day (a dress) and it worked out perfectly!

bemrjm @josweeney116 I looked, and don’t really have anything that would seem to fit the bill. Most of my dresses are more summery/casual. The black body con dress can be very flattering, but I am guessing a body con dress isn’t appropriate for your function. I will keep an eye out, and if I see anything that strikes me, I will share it. Have.a great time at the event and hopefully I will “see” you on Poshmark again sometime!
