SOLD! Holland Windmill Pendant made of a Tile Artisan Crafted Solder & Leather

Artisan Necklace made with fragments of a vintage tile from Holland.I caged it with a Tiffany soft solder technique. I used this Holland Tile, (as shown in the picture), to cut out different scenes and turned some into necklace pendants and some into leather cuff bracelets or rings. I then soldered the pieces (with a lead-free solder), to give them a more clean and polished look. For the necklace I used a leather strap and wire-wrapping technique and added the nickel-free hook closure. This material is made to stay forever shiny but can lose some of its sheen. It may be gently polished with a steel wool to replenish the sheen. It will not turn your skin green! It is an Alloy: 96% Tin / 4% Silver, it’s safe and lead free! I design all my pieces by using mixed media art and incorporating mainly vintage and antique pieces to create something new from something old, hence, Disegno Antiguo Nuevo.
