Homecoming: Reclaiming and Championing Your Inner Child by John Bradshaw (1990 First Edition Hardcover in Dust Jacket)
Book design by Barbara Cohen Aronica.
John Elliot Bradshaw (1933–2016) was an American educator, counselor, motivational speaker, and author who hosted a number of PBS television programs on topics such as addiction, recovery, codependency, and spirituality. Bradshaw was active in the self-help movement, and was credited with popularizing such ideas as the "wounded inner child" and the dysfunctional family.
Taken from his workshops, the author examines the significance of identifying and rescuing the inner child in terms of recovery, spiritual growth, freedom, and full adult functioning. Illustrated with line drawings, charts, worksheets, and shadow box highlighted statements, the author's points are easy to understand allowing you to decide how to implement. Includes bibliographical references. xvi + 288pp
