This design was made in Newell, WV and sold to the Specialty China Co. of Pittsburgh, PA. for distribution. Bess Myerson lent her name to the dinnerware but did not actually design the pattern. She was on the TV show “The Big Pay-off” in the 1950’s and this was given away as a prize. Many collectors know this pattern as “Bouncing Betty”.
