The Hopi Eagle Dancer, also known as Kwahu, is a sacred figure in the Hopi culture. A heavenly messenger between the Hopi people and their spirit guides. The Hopi perform the eagle dance as a prayer for rain and good crops and to carry prayers to heaven. The date of this uniquely beautiful creation is a mystery, but it is signed by the artist from the Hopie Mesa. Unfortunately, it sustained some damage the feather headdress (pictured) repaired with gemstones, hence the low price. It looking for a loving home who will accept its remaining beauty, or a skilled wood worker to restore it. Regardless it is still beautiful and looks amazing on a shelf.
