derrys @bee829 Congratulations! How exciting! The dress measures about 15-1/2” at the approximate waist then gradually increases to the hem. It does have a good bit of stretch. It is a beautiful dress. I hope that helps.

derrys @bee829 I added some pics for you to see the dress on. My niece said she wished she had it for maternity pics when she was pregnant. She said she thought it would work well with a baby belly. Lol. It is soft & stretchy.
