LOVE receiving feedback on my packaging so I thought it would be cool to share my process 🤓 I start off with a lint roller & steamer then use pretty tissue paper & ribbon to neatly wrap EACH item. I always include a personalized thank you card & add goodies when I can (beauty samples or sometimes extra clothing). Lastly, I use waterproof polymailers & ship same day. I try to reuse shipping materials when possible! It’s all in the details 👌🏼 Comments or questions? I’d love to hear from you!

tmarie_87 Just admiring your beautiful closet, and I have a question if you have time to answer it. How do you make the notes/banners you put up with pictures or text? I’ve scoured the internet a bit and can’t quite seem to figure it out. Thank you so much! 💕

mnguyen1661 @tarapika of course I have time! I use the Line Camera app to add text, banners, collages etc. I love it!! I think it’s free too. Download it & try it out. Let me know if you have any questions using it, I’m not a pro but I would be more than happy to help if I can 😊

I usually just ‘borrow’ from google bc I was stumped. 🙃 Will definitely get it loading and play around with it after work, I know where to go if I’m still stuck. mariellaine I love your closet! I've been looking at it since I started here at PM just a couple months ago. And this helps a lot on how I can make my packages look a lot better. I started with the tissue paper and a note card. I admire how you put a lot of effort in your packaging that I even want to receive one from you, lol! Have a great day! 💕

mnguyen1661 @mariellaine Aww! Thank you!! It’s evolved A LOT since I started in March. I realized, as a buyer, all the little things make such a huge difference; it would make me so happy to open up a nicely wrapped package. I’ve received clothing unwrapped, dirty, & damaged so I know how disappointing that can be. I also know everything can’t be perfect & it’s secondhand but if my little details can brighten someone’s day than it’s all worth it in the end 🤗

mnguyen1661 @mariellaine Let me know if you have any questions, I would be more than happy to help! I’ve found that dollar tree has the cheapest tissue paper (cheaper than amazon or alibaba), usps can send you free boxes to your door & they will pick up your packages if you schedule ahead. Also, I write “fragile, handle with care” on most of my boxes because if you don’t, they might end up damaged in transit 😑 I make/print most of my stickers & labels, I can email you the templates if you’d like 😊

mariellaine @mnguyen1661 Yes, it's so true! I've received packages like that too, that's why I've been trying and looking for some ways to make mine better. Your closet is like goals for real! I actually just started last month, and enjoying it so far. It's addicting now. 😍😂

mnguyen1661 @gorgeousnyc I felt so bad, I went back on my lunch break 🙈 Okay I uploaded what I use for packaging: • I made the “thank you” & “hello beautiful” squares • I bought the “thank you” gift tags as a jpeg on Etsy. I think it was $3 • I print everything at home & use a paper cutter & hole punch to use as a gift tag OR I’ll use a glue stick to put it on the envelope or on the tissue paper • The alphabet stickers I get at Michaels when they have a clearance sale, about 50 cents a pack

About $7 at michaels with coupon 👌🏼 • Bakers string from Amazon, $4 a roll & will last you FOREVER, much cheaper than ribbon 👌🏼 • Striped ribbon & circle thank you stickers also on amazon. I think it was $6 for 1,000 stickers & free shipping

mnguyen1661 @gorgeousnyc so I recently switched to the black & white packaging because I think it’s more classy but I’m still using the pink/purple and colored packaging on other apps. I would be MORE THAN HAPPY to send you the gift tag templates, just add one of my listings to a bundle & send me a private comment with your email 😊 I did out the math & using a hole punch with string or glue stick is wayyyyy cheaper than buying stickers of this size or printing on Avery sticker paper👌🏼

mnguyen1661 @gorgeousnyc and lastly... I know I probably spend way too much time and effort on packaging but I actually really enjoy it, wrapping is my favorite part! It may seem like a lot of work but I have a system down & it probably only adds about 3 minutes more than just throwing in a box ☺️
