Hi! I’m new to the app too. When people share your posts it helps it get out to a wider audience. They may not be interested in buying, but it’s nice to help someone find buyers. When someone shares something of mine, I like to return the favor. As for likes, the nice thing about them is that you can offer a deal to people who like an item which might help you sell more. I agree with the above commenter. Your items pop to the top of the brand’s feed when you share your OWN things and also go out to your own followers. But when we share each other’s things they go out to the followers of that person - a wider audience. Many people on this app only “like” an item when they are considering buying it. Some like it hoping you will give them an offer to liker and some do it to think about it. But yes, some just like it because it’s pretty and they move on.

I see you aren’t “following” anyone. If you follow bunches of people many will follow you back. Then when you self share your audience is bigger. And more people will share with their followers. You can also go into “find people” and follow people who just joined poshmark. If they see that somebody followed them they will come and look at your store. They might buy something. They might not.

To get more followers, also do a search for a thing called “follow game“. Upping your followers will get you more sales.

@babylonny Yeah. Poshmark makes you hustle a bit to get sales. You can also cross list on e bay and other apps that allow you to let it sit. People do that. But u have to remember to immediately pull something down from other sites once it sells on one.
