Howlite Bead Necklace, Amethyst Crystal, 1990s

This vintage necklace was artisan made in the early 1990s. The blue stones are dyed howlite. The beads are nice and craggy, giving a lot of texture and visual interest to the piece. The wire wrapped crystal on the bottom pendant is amethyst. The rest of the beads are mixture of metal spacers, glass seed beads, and semiprecious beads. Strung on wire, it is 30" long with a 2 1/2" wire wrapped pendant on the end. The clasp appears to be gold filled and is marked "14/20" (untested). Like new.
