raytchell @nic2700 howlite as far as I know is white turquoise so you should be safe. If you really want to know, take an extra bead, (if you have any left, I usually end up with one of none lol), and soak it overnight in room temperature water. You can add soap too. If it turns white it’s howlite, if it dissolves it’s paste turquoise, turquoise all the same. I love beads!!!!

raytchell You’ll have to let me know what you come up with. If it stays blue and clinks when you tap two together then there’s a 99.9% chance it’s turquoise. Just to confuse you, if the striations are copper in color once the dye washes off it can be Magnesite.
