Hubley Antique Cast Iron Painted Spanish Flamenco Dancer Door Stop

Hubley painted cast iron Spanish Flamenco dancer with original paint in excellent vintage condition. Beautifully aged paint as shown. Stamped 193 on back. Hubley Manufacturing Company of Lancaster, PA was founded in 1894. This doorstop was featured in their 1930's catalog with the item #193 and is described in their own words as " very attractive ." It measures approximately 9" tall by 5" wide and weighs 4.6 lbs. It is a three-dimensional figure with layered skirt and shawl and great patina. Valued from $400-$500 in John and Nancy Smith's The Doorstop Book . Lovely piece of Hubley history.
