They sit on the hip & are fitted through the butt & thighs. I recommend you “Size Up” if you want a looser fit. I have sized up & purchased various sizes throughout the years to get a different fit There is not a huge size difference between 26/27/28 since the fabric is so soft. it depends on the Fit you’re looking for. I purchased these cute size 26 in Westwood Ca. at a boutique when Jeans were worn, super tight with heels! I treasured them & took care of them. Condition- These jeans were hemmed to 32” inseam, then hand stitching was removed and returned to 34” inseam, washed and dried in the sun. They look great! You can still see the line where they were once hemmed. Can be hemmed shorter or stitch on the line (See pics) I am pretty FIRM on the price, since they do fit me, and I just purchased another pair for $95 in size 28 .(see.pic) I am selling Size 26. Only.
