This amazing piece is by Navajo Silversmith Leonard M. Nez. The intricate silver work is fantastic. The color of the turquoise is unmistakably Pilot Mountain. The shadowbox setting frames the turquoise perfectly.
Measuring 2 1/2” (3” with bail) x 2 1/4“ this piece is not for the faint of heart. With a large bail, it’s perfect for your Navajo pearls! If you love Native American jewelry, this piece is a must have.

About the artist from Garland‘s of Sedona:
“Navajo silversmith, Leonard Nez, started out from age 19-26 years old as a heavy equipment operator. His wife Marian and her family were silversmiths, and he was inspired by them. After creating his first pendant, he was asked to make 15 more! Within a year he was able to support himself with his jewelry making.
Well known artist Gibson Nez was a great mentor and role model. He took Leonard under his wing and called him brother. Even though they share the same last name they are not related”.
I absolutely love Native American jewelry and create and buy it, not only for myself, but to sell to others so they can appreciate it as much as I. I choose only pieces I fall in love with at first sight. I truly appreciate and research each artist so I know its story.
