Hummel #133 “Mother’s Helper" TMK 3 Interested?? I am open to all offers, I read and reply to each one, and am generally easy to work with! This figurine is 5" tall and the trademark (3 Stylized Bee) places the manufacture of this piece Circa 1959-1969. This figurine has no chips, mars, or repairs, but minor crazing on the bottom which is not unusual for its age (see pix). Otherwise, it is in perfect MINT condition. First created from Sister Maria’s sketches by master sculptor Arthur Moeller in 1939. Sister Maria had a love of children and sketched them in various situations. This adorable young girl is helping mother with knitting. She is seated on a stool with her ball and needles while her kitty cat is by her side. Wonderful!! It is an extremely colorful and detailed porcelain figurine made by the fabulous craftsmen at the Goebel factory so long ago and is still beautiful! There is such minute detail in this hand painted figure - so typical of the quality of Goebel's porcelain figurines. What a wonderful, vintage gift or keepsake it would make!
