This figurine is 4.75" tall, 4” wide and the trademark #5 (Last Bee) places the manufacture of this piece Circa 1972-1979. This figurine has no crazing, chips, mars or repairs and is in perfect MINT shape. It was created in 1967 by master sculptor Gerhard Skrobek. Sister Hummel had a love of children and sketched them in various situations. This young girl is tending to her basket of little chicks in her towel, and one has escaped and is on top of the fence. She is wearing her babushka standing next to the fence. This is so cute and a must have for collectors! It is an extremely colorful and detailed porcelain figurine made by the fabulous craftsmen at the Goebel factory!
