They have some "blooming" on them (white spots) as seen in pictures; this can be removed with Hunter solution or Olive Oil works just fine. This happens to all Hunter boots occasionally due to being made of all natural rubber, it is NOT a defect. nush_boutique @__nanceeeee Hunters tend to run big, esp. this style. I'm a true six and these fit me fine. I have not tried them on with Hunter socks, only without. They fit me comfortably and I like the slightly shorter length, it hits me nicer since I am petite. Also the extra room in the calf allows for more with jeans/pants or just for a person who may have a bigger calf. Measurements are posted above, but if need be I can also measure the bottom of the shoe for you. Thanks for looking!
