@tuttlek they are a great in-between. My daughter is now moving into 7.5 and they just recently became too small for her. They would be great if your kiddo is a true 7 and you are ok with them throwing quickly - but I bought when my daughter was in a 6, hoping for her to have them longer and grow into them.
