It's not 'new' black (though nothing torn/stained/ripped) it doesn't have that fresh new black look. That being said, I would have worn it (looks nice) but I ran into the same problem with being too small for it. It was a reposh, too. I can't remember off the top of my head the length. I'm going to be out for a few more hours but I can take some additional photos in different lights and measurements? Just going off the top of my head right now.
