I love skating, upgrading my skates and making my skates look fun, I make a toe guards, accessories, etc. I have skated for 33 years so I have quite a collection of vintage skates /accessories and new products too. I have overhauled quite a few pairs of vintage skates as well! I may add some listings in the future.

daisyshann @bposhin I love your sparkling & iridescent flair (painted hardware, boots, etc). This is inspiring me to bling out a pair of my skates. Any tips on painting the metal & sparkling the boot? I would be grateful for any resources you could share!

bposhin @daisyshann Absolutely! I used some fabric paint that had a slight shimmer (the silver boot) and then also picked up an iridescent clear shimmer fabric paint. My Silver skate boots are 30 yrs old so the leather was just flaking off. Initially I sanded them with a super fine grit paper prior to painting however depending on what your boot is made of will determine if it needs to be sanded. if leather you should get leather paint.

bposhin @daisyshann I used a rose gold shimmer nail polish for the eyelets and the stripe up the back. I thought I may have an issue with it but it actually holds really well! I made the toe gaurds using some PU leather sheets I ordered from Amazon for like 10 or 12 bucks! laces I found on Amazon too - maybe $6-10!

enveme Hello, this is actually what I’m looking for. I have my older vintage skates in storage so I just purchased another pair but I never dressed them up. I want to pursue the toe guard, laces and front break/stopper to match how do I purchase then from you since you make them?

enveme @bposhin I Eve been looking online and after I seen your post I knew which color I want. They are the cranberry/sparkling ones you have in this post. I think everyone has the traditional colors, designs and this color is just one of a kind, if I can say it like I like to be. My new skates are all white so any color will POP. I wasn’t sure if I wanted a color from the light up rolls skates but I fell in love with the “cranberry color” I think that’s the best way to call them?
