I. Magnin & Co. Nearly immaculate. The tag is loose as shown in photo. No rips/tears. Beautiful mink stole. Vintage Brown mink fur. I. Magnin & Company was a luxury department store that sold high fashion and specialty goods. The store was founded in 1877 by Mary Ann and Isaac Magnin in San Francisco, California. The store expanded across the West, but ceased operations in 1994 and was bought by Macy's. Fur stoles and wraps were a mark of the elite in the 30s, 40s and 50s, but were also an aspirational purchase that women of all walks of life aspired to make.
