deseli02 @shelby_ann_1225 there’s a lot of products, time & plan ole hard work that goes into a lasting paint job. It’s very similar as to a good lasting paint job on a vehicle accept a lot more tricky because there are different kinds of leather & each different kind has its own best way to achieve good results.

deseli02 I first clean each bag before I do anything else, then I use a leather preparer that strips the leather of any oils or dirt that plan ole cleaning didn’t get.

deseli02 Then I sand the leather, being careful as to not over do it but do it well enough to open the pores of the leather so that it can absorb the new paint color & I clean again. Then I apply thin light coats over & over while sanding any loose paint after each coat dries completely.

deseli02 I continue that process until I achieve desired color & look. Then I let dry for at least 24 hours. After that I start to apply my top clear protective coat, whether it be matte, satin or high gloss. I also apply the clear coat the same way

deseli02 In thin light coats letting each coat completely dry before applying another. I continue that until I see & fill that it’s completely protected while also being careful not to over coat it & distort the color of the paint job. I let that dry for at least 24 hours.

deseli02 I last apply leather conditioner lightly to put some nutrients back into the leather while also allowing me to see how strong my paint job is, allowing me to see if it will rub off easily or not. I also advise my customers to clean with a damp cloth, bring careful not to soak & lightly wipe bring careful to not scrub vigorously.

deseli02 Which is the same way one should clean there original bag because one can distort the original bags color by not being mindful to clean & use with care. deseli02 @irmavelasque938 Depends on size & make & original color of the bag, also if there are any flaws that have to be repaired or addressed. I can tell you that if it were this exact make & model & the original color is light colored then I’d be in the ballpark figure of $125 - $185 for the paint job & sealant.
